The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh)
Guiding Your Birth Journey
I believe birth is a sacred and profound time in a woman’s life. It is life changing and transformational, and believe in the power of our bodies to know what to do. We are told in so many ways that our bodies are flawed, and the fears and unknowns around birth cause anxiety for so many. Birth is a natural process that we are made for!
You have it in you, just like all the women before you. In labor and birth, you will tap into the deepest wells of strength, knowledge and wisdom to bring your baby into the world. You and your baby will work together for this to happen, and on the outside you will have me as your doula. I will be there for you from start to finish and available to offer guidance to your partner as well.
Together we will refine your birth plan, build trust and confidence in yourself and me, all with the goal to have the birth you envision for yourself and your baby.

Why I Do What I Do
I believe every family deserves compassionate, evidence-based support during pregnancy, birth, and the tender weeks that follow. I believe in the power of having support and community to help you welcome your baby, to help with your transition to motherhood, sibling integration and more. What I love about doula work is that it can be found in numerous texts throughout history and has been a part of humanity since ancient civilizations and doulas continue this work now. Supporting birthing women and holding space for them in gentle, grounding, calming ways is my approach and I would love to be a part of your journey!
